We collect only what we need to run the App and personalize your learning.
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information — when you sign in with Google or Apple, or create a password account, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from the sign-in provider.
- Learning content — words and grammar you add by typing or by taking a photo (OCR), your chosen mother-tongue and target-language pair, self-declared proficiency level, voice/TTS preferences, and any reports or feedback you submit.
- Photos for OCR — when you add a word by photo, the image is processed to extract text. OCR runs on your device; images are not uploaded to our servers for OCR. We only store the resulting text you choose to save.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage & learning progress — practice history, review states, streaks, and proficiency signals used to personalize lessons and scheduling.
